MJLT started its operations in 2018 and initially contracted with mining and heavy earthmoving companies for five years. In May 2023, we established our welding fabrication and repairs business in Ashmore, as a small family-run company.

Mick, a seasoned Director and Head Boilermaker with 30+ years' of welding expertise excels in crafting metal structures and equipment repairs.

As a first-class welder and boilermaker, Mick excels in crafting metal structures and performing repairs for earthmoving equipment, truck bodies, and more. His hands-on experience includes operating various heavy machinery and road trains, showcasing practical skills in equipment operation, maintenance, and welding for repairs. With a commitment to safety, Mick holds qualifications in traffic management and safety and health investigation. In supervisory roles, Mick has overseen diverse projects, demonstrating a high-level understanding of project management, quality control, and welding/fabrication activities. His project highlights include contributions to significant earthworks, construction, and infrastructure development projects. Grounded in her experience as a cleaner and chemist, she ensures workspaces adhere to high cleanliness and safety standards. Holding a Certificate 3 in Financial Services, Jacinta brings financial insight to the business, managing invoicing and contributing to fiscal health. Her hands-on involvement extends from office operations to the physical aspects of the work, including cutting steel, measuring, and contributing to the practical side of welding projects. Drawing on her experience as a teacher's aide, Jacinta fosters a supportive and learning-oriented environment within the MJLT team. Beyond the workshop, she picks up materials, manages logistics, and assists in the delivery of projects, showcasing her dedication to the holistic success of MJLT.
